Safer & Stronger Communities
What's the agenda
The 2008 'Policing Green Paper' focuses on neighbourhood-based
policing through local police officers and police community support
officers, backed up by the 'Policing Pledge'. It means building a
much stronger 'customer relationship' between the police and the
people they serve. How can police and others provide reassurance to
combat unjustified fear of crime? Can this progress be accurately
and independently tracked? What steps do Police Forces need to
take, to improve local performance management data on 'feeling the
difference' and 'confidence in policing' indicators? Can this be
linked to other CDRP partnership data?
